The workshop on “Dynamics resilience as a measure for risk assessment on complex water systems” within the dissemination of the DyRes Systems project was held at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac on March 31, 2022. Within this workshop, the activities realized by the participants within the project were presented. The following topics were presented (Figure 1):

  • Dynamic resilience as a measure for risk assessment of the multipurpose water management system Pirot: Review of the project and achieved results. Presented by Dr Milan Stojković from the Jaroslav Černi Water Institute.
  • Dynamic modeling of multipurpose reservoirs in adverse weather conditions. Presented by Dr Damjan Ivetić from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade
  • Decision support in the assessment of the resilience of water management systems based on the processing and analysis of big data by machine learning methods. Presented by Dr Višnja Simić from the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac,
  • Analysis of filtration and stress-strain processes of embankment dams using FEM. Presented by Dr Dragan Rakić from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac.

In addition to researchers participating in the implementation of the DyRes System project, the workshop was attended by doctoral, master’s and undergraduate students from the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac. After the presentations of the project participants, the students had the opportunity to ask questions to the project participants and discuss the methods used in the implementation of project activities.
After the official part of the workshop, the students were given promotional stationery items in order to disseminate the project (Figure 2).
